Machine for the treatment of cupel balls

After extracting the precious metal "bead" from the cupellation furnace, it remains solid and thick. This machine is used to compress it between heavy-duty steel rollers. The goal is to transform the bead into a thin foil to increase the surface area exposed to acids, ensuring silver is completely dissolved and separated from gold rapidly and accurately. The machine features a foot pedal (shown in yellow) for easy control and a compact design that balances power and safety within assay laboratories.
