Electronic drill

This drill is the first practical step when receiving large gold or silver ingots for testing. It is used to drill into different parts of the ingot to extract metal "shavings" or "chips." These shavings represent an accurate sample of the entire ingot's content, which are then weighed and chemically analyzed without needing to melt the whole bar, saving time and effort while maintaining the integrity of the original piece.
